Juliana Spahr
Juliana Spahr (Nacida en 1969) es una poeta americana, crítica y editora. Es la ganadora del 2009 Premio de Poesía Hardison otorgado por la Biblioteca Folger Shakespeare en honor a un poeta estadounidense cuyo arte demuestra gran imaginación y audacia.
Además de enseñar y escribir poesía, Spahr es también una editora en activo. Spahr recibió el Premio Nacional de Poesía por su primera colección de poesía.
Nacida y criada en Chillicothe, Ohio, Spahr recibió su BA de Bard College y su doctorado de la Universidad de Buffalo, la Universidad Estatal de Nueva York en Inglés. Ha sido profesora en la universidad de Siena (1996-7), la Universidad de Hawai en Manoa (1997-2003), y el Mills College (2003-). Con Jena Osman, ha editado la revista artes desde 2003.

lagoons to be with the mudskipper in and out of the water as it is
walks on land too to be with cleistostoma kuwaitense as it builds a
semi-permanent mud hood over the entrance to its burrow to be with
