me gustaría pensar que te conocí 

antes de que todo estuviera hecho en china.

antes del plástico y las telas

pero también, antes del gran muro.

al recostarnos  me gustaría

contar tus cicatrices (halar horóscopos

bajo tus brazos).

siento que el corazón no sabe mayor cosa.

y sin embargo (como seda) siempre se suaviza

al sentirte.

before plastics and fabrics

but also before the great wall.

we lie and I would like

to count your scars (draw horoscopes

from under your arms).

the heart I feel knows nothing much.

and yet (like silk) it always softens

at your touch.
